Hazardous Condition

On April 3rd at approximately 1:08pm the Perth Fire Company was activated to respond to the area of County Highway 107 and McKay road for a report of a tree down on wires and the wires burning.  Perth 12-5-1, 12-5-3, 12-1-2, 12-4-1 and 12-4-2 responded and found primary power lines down and burning in front of a residence.  Perth units remained on scene and closed down a section of the roadway until National Grid was able to arrive and cut the power.  The fire was then extinguished and Perth was back in service at 4:55pm with 13 members responding.
